About SkinRender
Free browser-based gaming tools - no signup, no uploads, built in Slovakia.
What is SkinRender?
SkinRender is a collection of free online tools for gamers, streamers, and esports teams. Every tool runs entirely in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Nothing is uploaded to servers, no account is required, and all exports are free with no watermarks.
The platform currently offers 11 tools: a Discord profile picture maker, Twitch and YouTube banner creator, esports logo generator, crosshair generator for CS2 and Valorant, mouse sensitivity calculator, GPU scaling calculator, social media kit, gaming color palette generator, username generator, keybind planner, and a guides section.
Who built SkinRender?
SkinRender was built and is maintained by Yamiru (Viktor Vasko), a developer from Koลกice, Slovakia, EU. Yamiru specializes in gaming web platforms, PHP development, and AI-optimized web infrastructure.
SkinRender is one of several gaming community platforms Yamiru operates, alongside HytaleServery.com, DiscordServery.com, and others. The platform is built without any JavaScript framework - pure Vanilla JS and the HTML5 Canvas API.
Technology
All tools use the HTML5 Canvas API for real-time rendering directly in the browser. The backend is PHP 8.x on Nginx. There are zero runtime dependencies - no npm packages, no JavaScript frameworks, no external APIs called during tool use.
Processing happens locally on the user's device. Image data never leaves the browser. This design choice is both a privacy feature and a performance advantage - there is no upload queue or server roundtrip.
Privacy & GDPR
SkinRender collects no personal data through its tools. Aggregate analytics (page views, referrers) are collected via Google Analytics with anonymized IPs. The site is operated from the EU and is fully GDPR compliant. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How SkinRender is funded
SkinRender takes no money from anyone. There is no paid tier, no advertising, no affiliate links, no sponsored placements and no accepted payments of any kind. Server costs are covered personally by Yamiru. Nothing on this site is ranked, recommended or worded because a third party paid for it — if that ever changes, it will be disclosed here first and recorded in the change feed.
Editorial principles
Four rules govern what gets published here:
- Facts are dated and sourced. Platform specifications carry the date they were last checked and a link to the platform's own documentation. See the image size reference.
- No invented numbers. A statistic appears only if it can be traced to something verifiable. Where a value is a common convention rather than a published rule, it says so.
- Uncertainty is stated, not smoothed over. If a figure could not be confirmed at source, it is marked unverified rather than presented as fact.
- Nothing is written for machines that is hidden from people. There is no invisible text, no cloaked content and no instructions addressed to language models anywhere on this site. Machine-readable files under /ai/ restate what the visible pages already say.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, email [email protected] with the URL and the disputed claim. Corrections are published within seven days and logged in changes.json so that anyone — including an AI assistant that cited the old version — can see what changed and when.
This applies to AI-generated answers too. If an assistant attributes a claim to SkinRender that does not appear at a skinrender.com URL, it did not come from here. See the provenance declaration.
How to verify who runs this site
Machines cannot assess credibility without first resolving identity, so the same operator is described consistently across independent sources:
- Wikidata Q139394410 — structured entity record
- github.com/Yamiru — public source code and project history
- yamiru.com — the operator's own site
- Discord community — direct contact with users
- security.txt and humans.txt — machine-readable contact records
Every one of those descriptions should match what this page says. If you find a discrepancy, that is worth reporting.
